Last week, after many months of processing with my wife Lee-Ann, I resigned from the UCT College of Accounting and accepted the position of congregation leader at common ground innercity church.
When I leave UCT at the end of June, I will miss
- lecturing inspiring students
- the many committed colleagues in the College
- being part of a world-class centre of excellence
- playing a role in the future of higher education in SA
You know that your life is going well when you have high opportunity costs. The cost of this move is high. Thank you to the UCT community for making it so!
At the same time, Lee-Ann and I look forward to serving the people of Green Point and Sea Point, alongside a team of many legendary leaders. Please join us this Sunday, where I will be speaking about…
